Mobile Coverage Disclaimer

Coverage maps provided by these carriers are based on predictive modelling and may not reflect actual performance in real-world conditions.

The Helix Alliance cannot guarantee uninterrupted or reliable connectivity in all areas. Factors such as physical obstructions (e.g. concrete buildings, underground structures, tunnels), topographical features (e.g. hills, dense forests), and network outages may degrade or prevent service.

Users are advised to consult the latest mobile coverage maps provided by their chosen carrier and are responsible for confirming that mobile service is available in the areas where the device will be used. The Helix Alliance accepts no responsibility for loss of service or performance due to mobile network limitations or changes.

GPS Disclaimer

The LOCENTRIX MOTO+ device includes GPS technology to provide location services. For optimal performance, GPS requires a clear line of sight to multiple satellites. Environmental conditions such as indoor settings, tunnels, underground car parks, and densely built areas may interfere with or block GPS signals, resulting in delays or inaccurate location information.

Fix times may vary and can range from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on satellite visibility and signal strength. The Helix Alliance does not guarantee precise or continuous GPS accuracy and is not liable for any consequences resulting from delays, inaccuracies, or inability to obtain a GPS fix.

Battery Disclaimer

The LOCENTRIX MOTO+ device is equipped with a 30-day internal back-up battery, designed to provide extended operational life and continuous protection in the event of a primary power failure. The device utilises smart power management technology to optimise battery usage while maintaining full functionality.

While the back-up battery is capable of lasting up to 30 days under typical standby conditions, actual battery life may vary depending on usage patterns, environmental conditions, and network connectivity demands.

It remains the responsibility of the user to ensure the device is adequately charged and maintained, particularly in high-demand or emergency scenarios. The Helix Alliance accepts no liability for outcomes resulting from battery depletion, failure to charge, or battery malfunction, including where such failure results in a disruption to service or device performance.

Indemnity Clause

You hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Helix Alliance, its affiliates, officers, and employees from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from third-party claims in connection with the use of the LOCENTRIX MOTO+ device, system, or services, including but not limited to system failure, service disruption, or device malfunction.
